To career, or not to career, that is the question…

Virgin Money is delighted to launch its ReCareer Programme, dedicated to talented professionals who are returning to work following a career break.

What is the ReCareer Programme?

The 13-week ReCareer Programme is specifically designed to provide a supported route back to work for career returners. It is a 13-week paid professional internship. The programme is open to all and specifically aspires to encourage women back into the workforce after taking time out and who are now keen to return to their careers.

In addition to joining a team and taking on a valuable and significant piece of work, the ReCareer Programme also incorporates tailored returner coaching, mentoring and induction to support you in your transition. Technical training is provided to ensure you are up to speed on any industry or professional changes. There will be the opportunity to network internally with senior members of the organisation, and a buddying system to ensure your enjoyment of the programme. Flexible working is available and it is the aim of the programme to offer you a permanent position at the end, although this is not guaranteed. There will be a one week break in the programme coinciding with the half-term school holiday.
