Encore!, one of Barclays’ flagship diversity and citizenship programs, helps individuals who have taken a career break prepare to re-enter the workforce.
Barclays values diversity of experience and perspective among its talent and views Encore! as a way to achieve this.
We are now accepting applications for Barclays’ 12-week Encore! program in London and Birmingham in the UK and Dublin, Republic of Ireland. New York and Wilmington in Delaware for Americas and there will be opportunities in India going live shortly.
Application close on 15 November, 2019.
Selected participants will join the program beginning 14 January 2020 to 3 April 2020.
Encore! provides returners with the opportunity to refresh their skills through leadership and development training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a paid working role for the program’s duration. Qualified candidates with strong performance are eligible to be considered for full-time roles based on availability and suitability.
The program was established in 2016, and it has expanded in size and locations across India, UK, and US offices since launch.
Applicant requirements:
- Achieved the equivalent corporate level or above when previously in the workforce
- Must have taken at least a one-year career break
