Your job, your way
As a Barclays Branch Manager, you’ll use your business aptitude and your team’s unique understanding of local customers, competitors and trends to deliver the right Barclays products and services every time. You can count on plenty of respect from the local community and a great team to support you, plus the backing of a global leader in the financial services industry. Best of all, you’ll have the chance to run the branch as you see fit, making your own day-to-day decisions. Factor in the market-leading training, competitive salary and benefits and outstanding chances for career progression, and it becomes clear that this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
What you’ll give our customers as a Branch Manager
You’ll set the pace, tone and standards for your team, coordinating the efforts of specialists like mortgage advisors and local business managers to help deliver a seamless service to your customers, whatever their needs may be. Operationally, you’ll use your local insights and commercial acumen to help develop your area’s business plan and then ensure that your branch is fully equipped to reach its goals. In addition, you’ll be an inspirational leader, providing clear direction, coaching and support to build a committed team that delivers seamless, high-quality customer service.
What you’ll get in return
Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you’ll get the same in return. We’re not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You’ll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.
What you’ll need as a Branch Manager
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you’ll need to be an accomplished people manager who can lead a team to combine a strong sales focus with high standards of customer service. Your broad knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations will enable you to run your branch like your own business, developing and executing clear, commercially astute business plans that are driven by your customers’ needs. And, we never underestimate the importance of personality; customers will know your name, and your team will know you’re always there to support them.
