Rising Star alumni celebrated in INvolve’s HERoes Role Model Lists

HEroes ROle Model List

Rising Star and TechWomen100 alumni have been celebrated in INvolve’s 2022 HERoes Women Role Model Lists.

The HERoes Women Role Model Lists, supported by Yahoo Finance UK, showcase business leaders who are championing women in business and driving change to increase gender diversity in the workplace. Representing multiple sectors and industries across the world, those on our HERoes Women Role Model lists have not only achieved success in their own careers but also broken down barriers for those that follow.

Amongst those recognised are Neha Rajesh, who won a TechWomen100 award in 2021; Marie Hemingway, who was named a Rising Star Champion in 2022; Farrah Ekeroth, who won a Rising Star Award in HR & Recruitment in 2021; Eunice Zhu, who won a Rising Star Award in Banking & Capital Markets in 2021; Sarah Chapman, who won a Rising Star Award in Education & Academia in 2022; and Samantha Gould, who won a Rising Star Award in All Other Industries in 2021.

Also recognised are Rising Star judges, Tamara Box, Managing Partner, EME at Reed Smith and Amanda Brock, CEO, Open UK.

Tamara is a founding member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club, an influential group seeking to enlist Chairs and CEOs to bring more women into senior management and onto boards. Tamara is also a non-executive director on the Board of Interpath Advisory, a member of the Board of the Chartered Management Institute, a trustee of gynaecological cancer charity Eve Appeal, a member of the Advisory Board of children’s charity, Theirworld and an Emeritus Governor of the London School of Economics.

Amanda supports the initiatives of several organisations. She speaks at many organisations’ diversity events, and in 2022 organised an IWD Day event at the House of Lords with Baroness Kennedy and the Judges rescued from Afghanistan. Amanda leads an organisation with Diversity at its core and supports diversity at every turn in her work.

Speaking about the list, Suki Sandhu OBE, Founder & CEO of INvolvesaid, “I’m so thrilled to be celebrating this global group of trailblazing Executives, Future Leaders and Advocates for women in business.”

“All the individuals within these lists are championing inclusion and, most importantly, leveraging their expertise and knowledge to drive inclusion initiatives and strategic change within their organisations.”

“It’s vital that all women within our global businesses can succeed and achieve authentically, and these Role Models are essentials drivers of change and are smashing barriers to progress to create organisations where women can thrive.”
