samedaydoctor was established in 2003 to provide accessible primary medical care to individuals in the UK. It was established by Dr Laurence Gerlis, a prominent doctor who for over 25 years had practiced as a private GP in the Harley Street area as well as in the NHS. Everything we do is founded on delivering the highest quality of service to complement the quality of medical attention essential in every aspect of healthcare.

The level of expectations today are such that many in the UK demand more in terms of service and responsiveness than it is reasonable to expect public healthcare to deliver. Our goal is to make such service available to anyone seeking it, offering second opinions, as the first point of contact into the medical community, or full and tailored health testing for sexual and other health issues.
