Sanctuary Spa treats thousands of women every year at our iconic home in London’s Covent Garden where we have been helping women relax and rejuvenate for more than thirty-five years.

Some beauty products are created in a laboratory – ours were born in the spa. Developed using the expertise of our therapists and the feedback of our thousands of guests, all of our award-winning products are those used in our spa treatments. Facilities
For over 35 years our flagship spa in the heart of London’s Covent Garden has been dedicated to help women relax, rejuvenate and have fun. Housed in a beautiful listed building filled with hidden treasures, the spa is a true Sanctuary from the bustle of the city. You can explore some of our harmoniously designed lounges, pools and rooms here, but it’s hard to describe the indefinable atmosphere of the spa.

Relaxation Lounges: The famous koi carp lounge is formed by a winding series of interconnected pools containing over 35 koi carp and surrounded by comfortable loungers. Our second cosy lounge contains deep velvet armchairs, beds and tables where you are welcome to chat with friends, enjoy a drink and something to eat or even curl up for a comfortable snooze.
Swimming pools: We have two swimming pools: the exercise pool and our gorgeous atrium pool with its famous swing is an icon of the spa – famous the world over as the setting for Joan Collins in the film The Stud. Some guests just enjoy lounging by the pool with a drink and a magazine, others like to power lengths along our exercise pool.
Jacuzzi: There are two Jacuzzis – one alongside the exercise pool, which makes a lovely way to relax after an energetic swim, and the other in our ‘water garden’, a large whirlpool bathing area which is wonderful for sharing.
Hammam and Sanarium: Two heat treatment rooms: the hammam provides a wet heat steam experience – wonderful for cleansing the body and the respiratory system. The samarium is a dry heat sauna encouraging detoxification. You can switch between hot and cold showers for a circulation-boosting super-treatment or to prepare your skin to receive the maximum benefit from a facial or massage.
Skincare Play Area: The ideal play-area for grown-up girls, this bar contains dozens of facial masks, oils, moisturisers, scrubs … you name it, every Sanctuary product is available to test, try and enjoy. Our world-renowned skin camera can assess your skin’s needs – you can book in for this service on the day although it’s subject to availability. Many of our guests love seeing the difference made to their skin before and after a facial treatment.
Sleep Retreat: Lie back on our low-frequency sound wave therapy beds for a deeply relaxing meditative experience, designed to reduce muscle tension, relax and revitalise both the body and mind.
Infrared Sauna: A bespoke low-temperature infrared sauna, which emits a gently intensifying and direct heat to target tired muscles, rejuvenate the body and can assist with weight loss and detoxification. The perfect treatment to have before a Sanctuary facial or massage to warm and loosen the muscles.
Restaurant: Step into our beautiful Restaurant on your Spa Day. We offer a wide selection from a two course lunch to indulgent desserts, afternoon tea or sharing platters to enjoy with friends. A smaller menu is available in our lounge areas.
