Nui Ami is a new luxury sleepwear brand with an emphasis on fit and comfort. Designed and made in Britain, Nui Ami’s collection is handcrafted using the finest Italian silks, French Leavers lace and Austrian jerseys, offering an intelligent blend of fashion, form and function and softening the boundaries between sleepwear and loungewear.
Heralding a new approach to sizing, Nui Ami’s signatures chemises, camisoles and sleep bralettes are available in nine cup-sizes (30 – 40, B – F) that subtly support and complement a woman’s shape without compromising comfort. Other key pieces include the sleep bralette which can be paired with any of the shorts or pyjamas at home or even worn under a blouse or blazer when out, as well as the beautifully tailored silk pyjamas featuring prints exclusively designed for Nui Ami’s launch collection.
Nui Ami is the brainchild of entrepreneur and mother of two Sanjit Vallance, a London-based designer with a deep-rooted love of travel. Sanjit co-founded India’s first glossy bridal magazine, Indian Bride and Home, in her early twenties before moving into property development and interior design. It was her passion for fabric that brought her back to her family roots in fashion and let her to study lingerie design at University of Arts London. Working with a group of UK lingerie specialists who provided the technical know-how in designing a collection that is unique in its sizing and silhouette whilst offering a luxurious style and modern aesthetic, Sanjit’s inspiration for Nui Ami is a combination of two of her obsessions: beautiful lingerie and a beautiful night’s sleep.
