Temp Vacancy of the week: Communications Administration Trainee | SocGen

This role sits within the IT Infrastructure support area of the bank and will see you providing assistance to the PA in through a variety of administration tasks. You will act as primary support to management on ‘town halls’ presentations and events as well as other business lines and the wider SG community.

You will be involved in:

ADMINISTRATION TASKS

*Maintain and manage system/procedures, including travel requests, expense claims for management team and updating expense spreadsheets
*Maintenance of team files including the organisation chart in conjunction with the IT management accountant (on the computer).
*Ordering of stationery
*Translation of documents (if French speaker)

EVENTS

Assisting in organisation of events by:-

*Sourcing and booking internal (and occasionally) external facilities
*Book accommodation, flights and cars for town halls and business travel.
*Produce invitations and collate responses
*Managing attendee lists
*Badges
*Arrange printing and distribution of communications material and prepare communication packages.
*Collect information and create feedback reports for town halls and presentations
*Create schedules for presentations
*Organise AudioVisual (AV) equipment and conference call access
*General administration
*Work within an administration team in conjunction with Senior PA. and IT accountant, reporting to the Deputy Chief Technical Officer for the UK
*Constant contact with the administration function and the management team
*Liaison with outsourced service teams for AV & PC equipment and travel
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Self-starter.
*Pro-active and prepared to work as part of team.

This is an initial 11 month fixed term contract and would definitely suit a someone who is highly organised with an interest in joining a Global Investment bank and someone confident enough to be able to deal directly with senior managers. This may also suit someone who has a creative flair to them and is interested in marketing/communications.
