The count down is on!

Less than 2 weeks to go and the countdown is really on. I’ve jumped over the stress hurdle now and am in full blown excited mode. I keep having these little moments where it hits me and I do my happy wedding dance! Or I stand there with a big goofy grin on my face.

There are still lots of things to sort but the pressure has eased now that everything has been paid for and it’s just last minute timings.

I sorted out all the presents this weekend, putting them in boxes/bags and adding white/purple paper and name tags. I’ll let you ladies know the present choices and where you can get the items after the wedding so as not to spoil the surprise.

The table plan is my next point of call. I’ve just got to add the pre-prepared (by me and Mumma) table names to the big backing card. I was waiting for more glu dots but they have arrived today so I can get working on that.

I’ve booked an appointment to have my hair coloured by Toni & Guy in Chelmsford this Friday which I’m excited about. I need to remember to book myself in for a manicure/pedicure closer to the day. My shoes arrived and they are super comfy. I had to go for a size 7 even though I’m actually a size 6 as they pinched a bit and I definitely do not want uncomfortable shoes on all day especially not with the amount of dancing I plan to do hehe.

The DJ list of preferred songs has been sent to the DJ who is going to rock the wedding party. I’m so excited about this part because me and Matt love our Music so it’s important we trust the DJ who has been nothing but brilliant from day one. http://www.djterryjlewis.com/. If your looking for a DJ to listen to you and actually take into consideration what music you love and don’t like then he is the one for you. He gave us some great tips for the day as well as cutting the cake and how to position our hands so that the rings were both captured. He’s super helpful.

Me and my mum worked out the timings on the day and yes, it’s an early start even though I’m not getting married until 2pm. I have to get up at 7am but gives me and my girls enough time to get fully glammed up AND have a sumptuous continental breakfast in the morning with a bit of bubbly and of course a few giggles thrown in for good measure.

So at this point I’m on top of everything which is fab. As a bride 2 be you have to enjoy the build up, yes its stressful but as I said before its not all doom and gloom and when the sun finally comes out and you can see your perfect day approaching its an amazing feeling. I will say Matt is still his gorgeous laid back self no stressing or worrying, he just takes everything in his stride and nothing fazes him – It has to be a guy thing 🙂

So ladies wish me luck on my big day. I will fill you in on all the details when we get back from the honeymoon and just a warning expect a LOT of pictures hehe.

Thanks for reading, it has been a long journey but the prize at the end is now within sight WOOOOOOOOOO!
