If you take a Virgin High Speed train from London, you may have noticed that they have refurbished their on-board toilets. In order for them to cover off what is possibly the strangest set of criteria they have issued a great sign to aid all patrons. So no flushing of old mobile phones, junk mail, goldfish, ex’s jumpers, hopes or dreams!
Whether these have been drawn from experience or just a laugh (Thank you Mr Branson :-)) it certainly amused one of our members.

Shockingly, statistics reveal that in the UK, one woman is killed by a man every three days. Let us unite in remembrance, solidarity, and a shared commitment to combating this devastating issue, lighting a path toward a safer, more compassionate world for all.
The evening will feature speakers, music and a moment of reflection followed by refreshments. Please ensure to wrap up warmly for the December weather.
