Dimly-lit, velvet-rich lounge bar on Hardman Street, close to the city centre, that draws in a mix of students and young urban groovers. Pleasingly unpretentious, the place is split into two levels with a wide range of dancing and DJ action on show. We most liked taking a seat in one of their American-diner style booths, sipping on a beer and imagining we were Tom Waits. Except of course this was Liverpool, these were Scouse accents and we were only having one before going home to watch TV.
