Client Service Delivery (CSD) brings together BNY Mellon’s key operational areas into one global team to better support the company’s businesses and serve clients around the world. CSD helps clients to conduct business, service assets, and engage in transactions in 35 countries and more than 100 markets. At every stage of the investments lifecycle – creating, trading, clearing, settling, holding, servicing, managing, distributing and restructuring assets – CSD is working to make BNY Mellon the recognized industry service quality and productivity leader. Client Service Delivery manages investment monitoring, measurement and processing services for our clients. Our solutions include Securities Operations, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Outsourcing, Performance Measurement and other related services.

Money Transfer is made up of 2 primary groups:

1. Money Transfer Processing is responsible for multi-currency payments in over 50 markets globally. There are three processing teams, a total of 30 staff and the environment is fast paced and deadline driven.

2. Money Transfer Investigations has two main functions, the reconciliation of cash breaks and the management of queries resulting from payments or breaks (we deal with queries from external counterparties, internal clients, and client services and direct from the client). There is a total of 30 staff split over four MTI teams -reconciliation, queries, specialised client and a client facing query team. Good communication and strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential for this group.

The Money Transfer group is exposed to both financial and reputation risk due to the high value transactions processed and daily interactions with multiple areas of the company and external counterparts.

The group sits within Global Cash Operations which has multiple functions, including: payment processing, account reconciliation, query management, nostro account management and money market processing.

Job Purpose: (What the job role involves)

The Work Flow Coordinator is responsible for supervising the workflow of c.6-10 people within a team and providing technical expertise. The role is to oversee the team from a process and risk management perspective – ensuring daily tasks are completed within required deadlines and all procedures and controls adhered to, thus minimizing risks and potential losses to the organization. The Work Flow Coordinator will also take responsibility for the training of new staff.
