Toronto School of Management to livestream #WomenwithTSoM event

TSoM IWD 2019

Toronto School of Management (TSoM) is looking to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019 by hosting the #WomenWithTSoM event on Thursday 7 March.

Janki Shah, Professor at TSoM, will be moderating a panel discussion featuring representatives from international start-ups, finance and business consultancy sectors. Janni Kristensen, Co-Founder of HANGAR Travel, Jean Chow, Business Coach and Strategist, and Glenda Schmidt, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, will be looking at the role of women in business in a conversation inspired by the official theme of IWD 2019 #BalanceforBetter.

The event will take place at TSoM’s campus in the heart of the city, and will be open to students from all the programs available at the school. Confident in the importance of supporting gender equality in business and beyond, the college is looking to reach out to a wider audience by streaming the panel discussion live on its Facebook page.

With this innovative initiative, TSoM aims to share the speakers’ experience and insights with a wider audience, showing its commitment to bringing its students closer to the world of business and vice versa.

We are writing to you today to provide you with the link to follow the panel discussion on Facebook Live, which can also be embedded on your website should you wish to share it with your audience. The event will start at 1.30pm, Toronto local time.
