Back to Business is back.

This time we are looking for Managers & Senior Managers across PwC.

About the role

Back to Business is a 16 week paid senior internship programme designed to encourage talented women back into the workplace after an extended career break. The programme is aimed at women but applications are open to all.

We know that returning to work after a break may not be easy, so we want to make this as successful and enjoyable for you as possible. The programme is designed to help you transition back into the work environment and give you an opportunity to upgrade your skills. Our Back to Business programme will include:

• A week long induction with your peer
• A dedicated Partner Sponsor
• Shadowing a member of your team who will help your initial transition back
• Being assigned to real client projects
• Touch points throughout the programme to see how you are getting on

In addition, you’ll receive support throughout the programme to ensure that you have a successful experience. This programme is a chance to make a real impact and contribute to our business.

At the end of the 16 weeks there may be an opportunity to become permanent depending on performance and desire to continue with us.

We are looking for talented women to join our Back to Business programme in our Deals practice:

Our Deals business is made up of Business Recovery Services (BRS), Corporate Finance (CF), Forensic Services and Transaction Services (TS). We focus on the transactions and crisis elements of our business from strategic public office procurement advice, insolvency of underperforming businesses, international take-over bids to economic crime investigations. Our client base is wide, including government offices, Private Equity Houses, family businesses and multinational conglomerates.

Skills/Experience of interest: M&A, Financial advisory, Valuations, Data Analytics, Modelling, Due Diligence (financial & commercial), Procurement, Supply Chain, Operational Improvement, Turnaround projects, Disputes, Forensics Accountants or Lawyers. European Languages, ACA or CFA is desirable.

Requirements

You will also have:
• At least 2 years out of work, looking to return at Manager or Senior Manager grade
• Previous professional services experience, we would also welcome corporate industry experience
• Proven experience working in a client facing role
• Ready to start the 16 week programme as of 4th November
