- Proactive and competent approach to generating real-time structured finance credit market content written for expert and non-expert clients.
- Directly managing a reporter in London, as well as liaising with editors and reporters at IFR in London, Asia and New York.
- Ensuring a daily flow of information on new issue news, pricing and market moves is covered efficiently and in timely fashion.
- Breaking news for the real-time credit service on IFR Markets platform.
- Exercising sound news judgement, establishing and maintaining close contact with bankers, traders and investors.
Qualifications
- Experience of reporting, research or market experience covering or working in the credit market. A thorough knowledge and understanding of securitisation markets.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Extensive network of sources in the structured finance market both on the sellside and buyside.
- Solid organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Foreign languages, especially continental European such as Spanish, French, Italian or German
- BA/BS degree, Masters preferred (MBA, Economics, Journalism)
