Accenture Mobility operates as a strategic business unit working in partnership with Accenture’s industry groups to propose, qualify and build a pipeline of business, based on the Mobility offers, amongst Accenture clients and close new business.

This role is to join the Accenture Mobility UK & Ireland Sales & Consulting team. The Mobility Specialist will provide support to the sales team and sales consultants in both a pre-sales and delivery role. Over time, the Mobility Specialist will specialize in one or more of AM’s mobility offers and, over time, will be expected to become a subject matter expert in these offers.

Through mobility consulting engagements the candidate will help the sales team further position Accenture as the primary delivery partner for mobility solutions and will support the hand off to the deliver team during the design and build phases.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong interest in mobility, technical understanding and business or consulting skills. The role will be cross industry but industry experience in Accenture industry groups would be a benefit.

What are the key responsibilities of the role?

  • Work with Mobility sales to deliver pre-sales and bid support to client teams
  • Deliver in mobility consulting projects to drive longer term value for our clients
  • Develop mobility value proposition for our client by shaping mobility business case, roadmap, mobility architecture, operating model and governance
  • Conduct mobility market analysis
  • Baseline mobility capability, perform gap analysis and identify mobile opportunities for our clients
  • Support the proposal of mobility ideas that can be taken to clients
  • Participate in client workshop and interviews
  • Support the initial delivery phases of mobility solutions implementation (design and build)
  • Support pre-sales and sales activities

You will be part of the Accenture Mobility Services UKI Sales & Consulting team and work closely with Accenture client teams in this high growth and strategically important area with opportunities for personal learning and development.

You will have to opportunity to work in many industries, build further your business acumen and further deepen your mobility skills. You will integrate the client team providing services to multinational and large UK companies.

1               Qualifications


What skills are we looking for?

Strong interest in mobility and mobility applications related to B2E and B2C.

Experience in Mobile Payments, Loyalty, eCommerce, Mobile Commerce, Social Commerce and Digital Marketing. Together with experience in the design and implementation of multichannel Payments (PCI DSS, EMV) – Store, Mobile, Web, Contact Centre & IVR, and via different payment methods: EMV cards, contactless, alternative payments (e.g., PayPal), mobile transactions (e.g. NFC, cloud payments, Mobile POS). Experience in the design, architect and optimisation of multichannel customer journeys

  • Exposure/experience in working with mobile B2E and B2C projects
  • Design and implement a “Mobile Commerce Platform”
  • Multichannel customer journeys
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • University degree
