PA’s Transport, Travel and Logistics team works across the sector on some of the most challenging and high profile assignments to make a real difference to our clients. We are seeking a Managing Consultant with experience of the aviation sector to help grow our team.
The ideal candidate will help develop the team, sell more work to clients and manage a team of committed experts to deliver outstanding work. This will involve a collaborative approach, bringing together the key pillars that PA is known for – Consulting, Technology and Innovation. We expect this will be for a range of clients in the aviation sector addressing issues such as:
- Performance improvement
- New business models
- Better exploiting IT
- Supply chain management
PA has recently undertaken a number of high profile assignments in aviation sector to help our clients make a real difference, including:
- Working with the Civil Aviation Authority to design a new operating model
- Implementing a new air traffic management system for Navair
- Developing the business case for the second runway at Gatwick Airport.
In the wider PA Travel Transport and Logistics team, PA has worked to introduce a barrier free charging at the Dartford crossing, supporting the roll-out of smartcard ticketing in the south-east and buying the next generation Oyster Card system for Transport for London.
Our diverse team includes consultants who are engineers, technologists, procurement professionals, accountants and have worked across the entire spectrum of transport services and the team all share a commitment to improving transport outcomes for our clients.
Job Requirements
An experienced Managing Consultant who is able to both sell and deliver high quality work to our clients in the aviation sector. This will include:
- Leading medium to large-scale complex assignments
- Managing and developing high performing teams of PA colleagues
- Active involvement in managing client accounts, including producing thought-provoking pieces to support engagement with our clients
- Being responsible for initiating, leading and winning sales
