This is an ideal role for an ambitious sales person, someone who wants to gain experience in a agile and fast moving online media business, passionate about women in the workplace and who is keen to fast track their career in sales and sales management. We are looking for a high calibre, ambitious and dynamic person. • Your role will be office based.
• Your main task will be developing new business and prospects (Careers City, Careers Club, WeAreTheCity global).
• The role will involve sourcing new leads, handling incoming leads, cold calling new clients, liaising with prospective clients and developing / enhancing already established clients
• Accurate administration is a key aspect of the role. You will be expected to follow procedures fully and keep an organised desk at all times.
• Sales will be achieved on the phone. We expect a minimum of 80 outgoing calls a day.
• The candidate will work proficiently to deadlines.
• The candidate would need to be proficient at telephone sales and enjoy making out bound calls.
• Occasionally the candidate will be expected to work on the road as part of their personal development
• They will be given targets and they will be expected to exceed these.
• They will be encouraged to come up with creative ideas for developing new revenue streams.
• They may be expected to attend weekly sales meetings in Hockley.
• Occasionally the successful candidate maybe asked to assist our marketing team with their work. They will be expected to do this.
• The successful candidate will work quite autonomously and will need to be self-motivated.
