WeAreTheCity has partnered with the Gender Pay Gap Conference 2016, which aims to support UK organisations in approaching mandatory gender pay gap reporting.

On 15th July 2015 David Cameron announcement legislation requiring large employers to calculate and report their gender pay gap. This will be implemented from April 2017 and details will be published in April 2018. The move will affect 8,000 UK employers, with headcounts of over 250, who will need to negotiate to meet the transparency needed for the mandatory reports.

Taking place on Wednesday 12 October at the London Marriott Hotel West India Quay, the event will include keynote speakers Rt Hon Justine Greening MP Cabinet Minister and Minister for Women and Equalities and Jo Swinson, Founder and Director of Equal Power Consulting.
