On 05 May, WeAreTheCity held a Twitter Chat to bring together the many amazing women who are shortlisted for this year’s Rising Star awards.
The purpose of this weeks tweet chat was for our Rising Star shortlist, judges and members to share their best piece of career advice.
Our lively discussion engaged lots of women from different professions and industries, who all came together to share their own personal career advice with other members of the group. Over 50 individuals took part and due to the amount of interactions and tweets, we even trended on Twitter! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part.
We will be holding more Twitter chats with our Rising Star shortlist, judges and guests every Thursday at 12:30pm for the next four weeks. To take part, tune in to @Watc_Updates on Twitter and join in the discussion (using hashtag #watctop100). For a full schedule of future chats, see below.
There were so many top tips during the tweet chat, here are just a few from our wonderful ladies. You can see the full conversation by looking up #watctop100 on Twitter.
Never change who you are to satisfy others- be strong, independent and true to yourself! #watctop100
