Wearing our jumpers with pride this Christmas Jumper Day

WeAreTheCity christmas jumper
WeAreTheCity have donned our best festive jumpers in support of Christmas Jumper Day.

This Friday (18th) is all about wearing a Christmas jumper, from understated Nordic knits to over-the-top, merry sweaters complete with fairy lights and Rudolph noses – all in the name of raising money for charity!

Christmas Jumper Day is part of ITV’s Text Santa campaign, which raises money for UK-based charities. This year Text Santa is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children. Your kind donations will help to fund hospice care and nurses for those fighting cancer, grant wishes to children with life-threatening conditions and support children and young people who have been affected by wars, famine and disasters.

ITV first launched its Text Santa campaign back in 2011 and since then they have raised over £21 million, which have supported 22 different charities.

We’d love to see your Christmas jumpers and festive photographs, so don’t forget to comment below or tag us on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

Also remember to share with Text Santa via Twitter and Facebook! You can find out more about the cause here.
