What’s better? Curves or Skinny? | Men Uncovered Blog

Marcello-malefemalefacingawayWhenever this topic comes up, girls who are naturally skinny are torn to pieces, so before we go any further, To my naturally skinny girls, I apologise on behalf of everyone who has offended you with this debate. No there is nothing wrong with you. It’s not your fault that many men and women give you a hard time for your naturally small frame.

When I put this question out to the fellas, I covered a very wide demographic, from city boys and “professionals” to those most willing of volunteers, the nations builders and curvy came out on top by a long way.

Over the course of the last decade, the curvier woman has been championed and celebrated in the mainstream media and about time too. A naturally curvy feminine looking woman is very sexy to look at and they tend to get far more double takes from Men than they realize. Women like, Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Keri Hilson to name a few have made people stand up and take notice of the hour glass figure.

The catwalk is yet to catch up and fashion designers still do have a preference for using girls with a small frame to model their clothes. As I mentioned earlier, naturally skinny is not a problem but women who strive to look like that, with an eye to attracting the opposite sex are generally speaking, drawing admiring glances from other women who either want their bums or legs to, “look like that” in jeans.

When I put this question out to the fellas, I covered a very wide demographic, from city boys and “professionals” to those most willing of volunteers, the nations builders and curvy came out on top by a long way. Where it gets complicated is how men like their curves. Some wanted a curvy size 10, while others wouldn’t consider less than a 14 in the curve-o-meter. The only guys that liked skinny did all state that they still wanted a bit of a chest (try coming up with a less sexist sounding way of phrasing that and I’d be very appreciative)

I’ve personally never been one to go for or admire skinny because it is nice to see the outline of a woman’s curves, but I do not hold it against someone that is small or who prefers a smaller woman. The general consensus is that curvy does kick skinny in the little toosh, when it comes to what men do prefer.

I’d be very interested to find out what build women do prefer in men, so please get in touch and I’ll help spread the word for you 🙂

Coming next week: Should I go all the way with him on the 1st date?
