What can a potential candidate expect during the interviewing process?

A fair process, with skilled assessors putting a candidate at ease, to get the most from them. Our general approach is a competency based interview, past experience we use as a measure for future success. Our interview process is normally 2 stages.

What do you look for in a potential candidate?

For an experienced hire – The technical skill to do the job but also what they can bring to the role, we look to bring in a wide base of talent from all industries

What is your approach to flexible working?

We have a dedicated flexible and remote working hub on our intranet making all relevant information and policies easily accessible in one place. Not only are policies easier to access, but we have also added ‘How to guides’ for both employees and line managers, as well as FAQs to provide guidance on what flexible working is and how to request it.

We arranged voluntary master classes for line managers to help them better understand the business benefits and practical implications, with the aim of improving the culture around flexible working and ensuring a consistency of approach.
