The awards will reveal its winners during a prestigious celebration at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 15 June. WIBF has also announced that the keynote speaker for the award’s luncheon will be the Rt Hon. Nicky Morgan MP.

Vivienne Artz, President, Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) said, “The number of nominations for the WIBF Awards for Achievement continues to grow year on year, a source of celebration for WIBF and for the industry.”

“We received far more nominations for this year’s WIBF Awards than ever before. This was marvellous, but, of course, meant much more work for our shortlisting panel! Not only because of the numbers involved, but also because the standard of nomination was so high.”

“Each year the WIBF Awards for Achievement reach more people and encourage more involvement with WIBF’s ambition of greater gender parity and greater opportunity within the industry.”

“Congratulations to the shortlisted nominees for the 2018 WIBF Awards for Achievement – the very best role models in the business.”

Speaking about the awards, Morgan said, “WIBF’s 21st annual Awards Luncheon is a great opportunity to celebrate the top talent in the banking and finance industry.”

“These are the role models who are inspiring thousands of young women to become the next CEO or CFO of a business.”
