A unique opportunity
Three times each year, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women invites outstanding business professionals and entrepreneurs to join its Mentoring Programme as mentors. Both men and women are welcome in this exciting programme!
As a mentor, you work one-on-one with a woman entrepreneur in a developing or emerging economy for one year. Your support helps her achieve her objectives and build confidence and skills.
Mentors benefit too. You can enhance your own skills, profile and networks while making a difference to a woman entrepreneur in Myanmar, South Africa, Pakistan, Palestine, Argentina or a host of other countries.

What we are looking for in a mentor
The key criterion is commitment. You’ll need to be able to meet with your mentee online two hours a month for a year (starting in November 2018). You’ll also need 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
Mentees are looking for support in a wide range of areas, so chances are there is a mentee who could benefit from your expertise!
How online mentoring works
You’ll meet with your mentee online two hours a month to work on topics that are tailored to her needs and your expertise.
You’ll be part of a vibrant, online community of 7,000 mentees and mentors around the world. Mentors receive training and have access to events, a resource centre and a learning and networking forum.

If you apply by 10 September, you could find yourself working with a baker in Vietnam, a waste disposal business owner in Kenya, a tour operator in Cambodia, a mental health app developer in Uganda, a
social enterpreneur in Egypt, a dance academy in South Africa, a handicraft producer in El Salvador or many other ambitious women.

- Then, complete the online application, which helps the Foundation find you a mentee who is a good match with your background and interests.
- If successful, you’ll be invited to go through an online training.
- After that, the Foundation will match you with your mentee and you’ll start your mentoring relationship in November.
