Sam Cooper-GraySam has been a senior leader in Financial Services for over 20 years, with a passion for driving inclusion and a special interest in improving gender equality in the industry. Currently Global Head of Commercialisation and Engagement for HSBC Business Banking, with over 1.3m customers and 52 markets and territories, she focuses on connecting customers and opportunities around the world, including launching the recent HSBC Roar programme for international female entrepreneurs. Sam is also the Global Sponsor for HSBC BALANCE Advocates programme and previous Global Co-Chair. HSBC BALANCE has over 50,000 members, 220 Executive Leader Ambassadors and 1,000 Advocates across the world and is an employee resource group focussed on ending gender imbalance. She is also a Board member for Women on the Wharf, leading the Beyond Mentoring programme connecting over 550 mentors and mentees across 20 major firms in London. In addition to this Sam has experience as a non-exec director, advising on diversity and inclusion and is a charity trustee for the Kent Community Foundation.
