Many of last year’s judges attested that it was one of the most challenging judging experiences they’ve encountered due to the remarkable accomplishments of the nominated women. We anticipate a similarly formidable task this year!
For our 2024 Rising Star Awards, we’ve assembled a team of over 50 exceptional judges, each chosen for their extensive experience and industry expertise. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these judges on behalf of WeAreTheCity, our sponsors, and future nominees for their commitment to nurturing female talent and for generously volunteering their time to assess the Rising Star awards in 2024.
Our Rising Star Awards stand as a unique platform, singularly dedicated to recognising the pipeline of female talent below managerial levels. The goal of the 2024 awards is to honour and celebrate 100 female role models and individual contributors across various industries, embodying the future leaders of tomorrow.
The shortlist will include ten outstanding women from each industry category, alongside ten from the Champion, Global Award for Achievement, and Men for Gender Balance categories. Additionally, three exceptional companies will be shortlisted for the coveted Company of the Year award. These selected individuals will be invited to a celebration at RBC’s headquarters in London. Furthermore, a public vote will be open for all individuals (excluding Champions, Global Award for Achievement, Men for Gender Balance, and Company of the Year nominees), offering them an additional opportunity to win a separate public vote award.
All winners will be announced in May 2024 and will have the honour of celebrating at a prestigious awards ceremony on July 17, 2024.
