The countdown to Women In Tech Week 2026 has begun and we’re looking for organisations, women in tech networks, community groups, speakers and tech professionals from across the UK to join us.

If you’ve got an idea, an event to host, would like to sponsor the week or have expertise to share, we’d love to hear from you.

From 12-16 October, Women In Tech Week returns with a nationwide series of virtual and in-person events celebrating women across tech.

Last year, Women In Tech Week featured more than 100 free events, 50 partner organisations and thousands of attendees, making it the UK’s largest celebration of women working across tech. Across five days, the programme covered everything from AI, cyber security, cloud technology and software engineering to leadership, confidence and career progression, with sessions on allyship, visibility, returning to work and future skills.

This year, we’re inviting even more organisations, communities and individuals to be part of it. From global employers and fast-growing tech businesses to grassroots communities and local networks, organisations of every size helped make the week such a success. We’d love to welcome even more new faces in 2026.

Our Lovelace Report, produced in partnership with Oliver Wyman, highlights why the work behind Women In Tech Week remains so important. The report estimates that the UK tech industry loses between £2 billion and £3.5 billion every year through systems that prevent women from progressing. Women represent around 20% of the UK’s tech workforce while leaving the industry at twice the rate of men.

If you’ve been thinking about hosting an event, supporting the week as a sponsor or simply attending, now’s the perfect time to register your interest.

Across the week, partners hosted workshops, careers panels, mentoring sessions, fireside chats and discussions inspired by Ada Lovelace Day. Every event starts with someone willing to share what they know. This year could be yours.

This year’s themes include:

Breaking Barriers – Understanding and removing the obstacles women continue to face in tech.

Skills for the Future (Ada Lovelace Day) – Building the technical and professional skills needed for tomorrow’s careers.

Pivot into Tech – Supporting career changers, returners and women taking their next step into the industry.

Allyship and Sponsorship – Opening doors, creating opportunities and turning support into action.

Celebrating Women in Tech – Recognising achievements, sharing success stories and the impact women are making across tech.

These themes are designed to spark ideas across the week, but they’re only the starting point. If you’ve got an event idea that supports women working across tech, we’d love to hear from you.

Events can take place online or in person and organisations of every size are encouraged to get involved. Your event doesn’t need to be a large conference. Organisations also hosted lunchtime sessions, careers panels and networking evenings. Every event brought something different to the programme.

We’re also keen to hear from women in tech networks and community groups that would like to be part of the week. Every organisation brings something different and that’s exactly why no two years are ever the same.

Women In Tech Week wouldn’t happen without the companies that sponsor it and we’re now welcoming sponsors for 2026. If your organisation would like to sponsor Women In Tech Week 2026, we’d love to hear from you.

Not planning to host an event or become a sponsor? You can still be part of the week. Register your interest now and we’ll let you know as soon as bookings open.

Every year brings new ideas and new opportunities to get involved. We can’t wait to welcome you in October.
