At first glance, the boxing gym and the boardroom might feel worlds apart. One is physical and demanding. The other is strategic and often mentally intense. The skills required to succeed in both spaces overlap more than we might expect, particularly for women navigating leadership and high-performance roles.
Boxing demands focus, discipline and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Every session asks you to read situations quickly, trust your preparation and keep going even when things feel uncomfortable. These are the same qualities women draw on daily in professional environments, from leading teams and managing change to speaking up in high-stakes moments.
The Fight Back Boxing Challenge brings this connection to life. Designed for corporate women, the programme offers a structured 10-week training journey that goes beyond fitness. Participants learn how to manage nerves, build confidence and develop resilience through boxing, then carry that mindset back into their working lives. It’s about showing up with clarity, backing yourself and understanding your own strength, inside and outside the ring.
What makes the challenge especially powerful is its purpose. Run by Fight Forward, the initiative directly supports women affected by domestic abuse. Alongside corporate participants, survivors are given the opportunity to train and take part at no cost to them, creating a shared experience rooted in empowerment, recovery and solidarity.
The programme culminates in a Fight Night main event, where months of training are celebrated in front of a supportive audience. For many, it becomes a moment of personal pride and collective impact, reinforcing what’s possible when confidence and community come together.
