Nicolina Andall is a Portfolio Non-Executive Director (NED) and has been a Corporate Commercial Solicitor for over 20+years.
Nicolina is a Judicial Appointments Commissioner with responsibility for the appointment of Judges in England & Wales. She is also Deputy Chair of the London Recruitment Advisory Committee, Lord Chancellor’s Department regarding the recommendation of suitable candidates to become Magistrates. She sits as an Independent Panel member for government departments making Ministerial recommendations in respect of NEDs for public boards and is an Advisory Board Member for Halsburys Laws of England. Nicolina has a 10 yr+ history of Board roles in various organisations for over ten years.
Nicolina is heavily invested in the advancement of women in their careers. She is a former Board member of International Womens Forum UK and chaired their Racial Equity mentoring scheme to support mid career diverse women to successfully navigate the workplace of today. She is a long standing Ambassador for Women On Boards and as part of this, mentors applicants for their senior board interviews – so far with a very high success rate!
Nicolina is a widely acclaimed public speaker on women and ethnic minorities attaining and thriving in leadership roles and is an expert Speaker for the Financial Times NED diploma course. In 2022 she founded “Inspiring Diverse Leaders” which is a group encouraging ethnic minorities to become influential voices in the Boardrooms of our Society. She was nominated for and successfully listed in the Cranfield 100 Women to Watch list in 2020 and has won numerous awards for her work in this field. In 2024, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Law (LLD) in recognition of her work.
In her most recent legal role – she was Executive Director and Senior Corporate Counsel at Atlas Copco, a NASDAQ listed Global Engineering Company following a long history specialising in construction and engineering both In house and in the City.
