Hannah is a Counsel in the Financial Services Team at Norton Rose Fulbright. She has worked in the City for over 13 years, and during that time has supported a range of initiatives to promote gender diversity.
In recent years, Hannah has co-chaired NRF’s Women’s Network and as part of that, she has lead a number of initiatives which have had impact both within the firm and beyond. Of particular note is the work that Hannah has spearheaded to advance NRF’s support of staff undergoing fertility treatment, and their Partners / Spouses. Over the past two years, she has driven significant change within the organisation, which ultimately lead, in January 2023, to the firm introducing ten days paid fertility leave and two days paid leave for a Partner / Spouse.
During the Pandemic, Hannah also led the working group which collaborated in the development and launch of NRF’s EMEA Mentoring Platform. This innovative and market-leading solution provides and easier and more effective way for individuals to find suitable mentors.
Each year, as part of her role as co-Chair of the Women’s Network, Hannah organises internal and external events for colleagues and clients – recently these have included speaker events with Baroness Morrissey, DBE, Laura Bates, Kanya King and Sophie Pender, and an evening with Jo Malone. Upcoming events will feature Julia Streets and Anya Hindmarch. These high-profile and exciting events, provide a wonderful opportunity for colleagues and clients to connect, and discuss how we can collectively make meaningful changes within our organisations and beyond.
The role that Hannah has had in elevating the profile of the NRF Women’s Network, setting an innovative strategy, and driving significant change within her organisation, has necessitated a huge amount of commitment and focus, alongside her very demanding day job.
