The Q4 2019 Gender Networks meeting was kindly hosted by MUFG on 17 October 2019, where we were joined by representatives from over 50 member companies.
The meeting kicked off with a network update from Vanessa Vallely OBE, Founder/Chair of Gender Networks and WeAreTheCity, welcoming our guests and new networks and talking about the ways Gender Networks have helped various members over the last few months by matching them up to speakers and partnering organisations to co-run various events and initiatives.
‘In the news’ was presented by Harriet Minter, TV Gender Commentator, Ex Guardian Women in Leadership, Gender Networks Advisory Board. We then heard from the amazing Gina Miller, Co-Founder – SCM Direct, Transparency Campaigner and Founder of Endthechaos.co.uk. We were also joined by Birgit Neu, Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, HSBC who spoke about the new narrative for engaging men, Fiona Freund, Photographer, Art Director and Founder of #MotherWorks – Motherworks Exhibition and Jennifer Liston-Smith and Emma Willars, from Bright Horizons, Work+Family Solutions.
