She moved into investment banking in her 30’s and rose up the ranks in Citibank. Following 15 years at Citi she joined ABN and became the CEO of Transaction Banking and a member of the Operating Committee. Following the sale of the bank, Ann joined Alvarez and Marsal where she led the team who restructured Lehman Holdings across Europe. In 2011 Ann joined Mastercard as a C suite executive leading all customer facing business outside the US and concluded her career as executive vice chair.
Ann believes passionately that women should rise to the top of the corporate world in equal numbers to men. She has Chaired the 30% club from 2019 to Feb 2023 and Financial Alliance for Women from 2018. She is a great advocate for women in STEM and has supported the Mastercard girls4tech programme to reach millions of girls all over the world and encourage them to keep up their science subjects.
