Didem Un AtesAs General Manager of Customer Success for Microsoft’s Azure Data Platform, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Business in EMEA; I work with our 30+ subsidiaries and am responsible for Data & AI customer success strategy, readiness, and execution. Our team drives the strategy to sell integrated solutions and modern support aligned with the key Enterprise Solution Area, Data & AI.

Having worked in three countries, I have more than 20 years’ experience in the global technology industry, spanning Enterprise Software and SaaS, Big Data & AI, Managed Services & Cloud business models. Previously serving as Managing Director, Data & AI for Accenture’s Microsoft Business Group in Europe, I led development and execution of the Data & AI Strategy and Go-to-Market plan for Europe and oversaw Solution, Delivery, and GTM for one of top three Data & AI Offerings. Before that, I held various roles including Senior Director, AI Customer and Partner Engagement at Microsoft Research and Business Applications; Global Director, Startup Success and Partnerships at Microsoft Ventures and Accelerators; and Chief of Staff for Microsoft Commercial Software Engineering in EMEA. My other work experiences include strategy, consultative sales, business development, account/partner engagement, Go-to-Market and product management roles at CapGemini, Motorola, British Telecom, and Greenwich Consulting (now EY).

Outside of Microsoft, I am a Non-Executive Director on the Board of ‘Creative Education Trust,’ which oversees 17 high-schools and 16,500 students in underprivileged regions in the UK. I am also a member of the Forbes Tech Council. I relish my broad industry network and participation through several advisory roles with high-technology, edtech, and social impact startups.
