Edwina Dunn

Edwina Dunn OBE is a British entrepreneur and businesswoman, best known for co-founding dunnhumby, a customer data science company, with her husband Clive Humby in 1989. The company became known for its work with Tesco, using customer data to create the Tesco Clubcard loyalty program, which revolutionized the retail industry.

Dunn and her husband sold dunnhumby to Tesco in 2011 and she subsequently founded Starcount, a social media insights company, with her business partner Clive Humby. Starcount provides insights to businesses based on analysis of social media data.

Dunn has also been actively involved in promoting women and encouraging more diversity in the tech industry. In 2018, she co-founded The Female Lead, a non-profit organisation that aims to showcase women’s stories and provide role models for the next generation of girls. The organisation has produced a book and a documentary film, both titled “The Female Lead” which highlight the stories of successful women from various fields.
