Women in Recruitment is supported by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo), and sponsored by Barclays plc and Squire Patton Boggs. The Committee members are all passionate about ensuring that the industry we have worked in for many years continues to offer exciting but meritocratic opportunities for everyone within it.

To create a shared culture across the global recruitment sector, in which individuals can fulfil their potential at work regardless of their gender.

Our value proposition

Women in Recruitment was formed to give all recruitment firms practical support in attracting, developing and retaining female talent, as well as provide a tangible demonstration of our commitment to gender equality for clients and candidates. A business case for gender equality has been developed, which outlines the many benefits of membership. A new WIR Charter has also been developed, allowing company members to demonstrate their status as gender equality champions. Membership of WIR includes free individual membership for all employees (on an opt-out basis).
