An event for those who identify as men to be inspired and make commitments for actions as better allies off the back of IWD.
Too often we hear that International Women’s Day comes around every year and while it was wonderful to celebrate women, nothing fundamentally changes. Because as soon as IWD finishes, everyone moves onto the next thing and inequity is often forgotten. And those men who were determined to do that bit more get sidetracked or they simply don’t know where to start.
This event, brought to you in collaboration with WeAreTheCity, is specifically designed for all those men who attended IWD events and want to commit to doing more. We have pulled together a fabulous panel who will be covering some of the key issues that still need to be addressed to establish gender equity and will be providing practical tips for becoming a better ally and an agent of change.
Our panel, hosted by Vanessa Vallely OBE, founder of WeAreTheCity, will be made up of the following agents of change:
- Daniele Fiandaca, Co-founder, Token Man and Founder, Token Man Consulting
- Harriet Waley-Cohen, DEI facilitator, Confidence & Leadership Coach
- Matt Foster, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Ogilvy
They will discuss some of the key barriers that currently exist as well as the significant impact men can have as allies and agents of change.
In addition, we will be providing a male allyship canvas which you can use across the year to ensure that you are driving real change.
