Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting women and their families affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. Cervical cancer is a preventable illness and yet every year in the UK 3,000 women face a potentially life threatening cervical cancer diagnosis and 1,000 women lose their lives; that’s 3 women every single day.
Steps for Jo’s
Join us at Steps for Jo’s our annual sponsored 5k walk or 10k run which takes place at the start of Cervical Screening Awareness Week (CSAW) this June.
The event takes place on 12th June at Hyde Park, London at 9am and is a great way to get people together to raise awareness of cervical cancer while raising vital funds, but just as importantly to celebrate life and to remember those who have lost their battle with the disease. Registration for this is just £7 for adults and free for children.
Join Team Jo’s
Even if you don’t want to walk or run at Steps for Jo’s you can still enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and help make our event special by becoming a Steps Steward. You can help support our runners and walkers along the way or join us at the Supporter Hub!
Organise your own event
If our event isn’t for you, why not organise your own event to help support us. It can be anything from a cake sale to a sponsored dance-athon or event a themed ladies night! We will be able to send you information materials, merchandise and fundraising resources and our dedicated fundraising team will be able to help you every step of the way!
How will your support make a difference?
We want to be there for every woman in need, as a small charity we can’t do it alone. Your support would mean that we can be there for women in need of our vital services and will also help us work towards a future free from cervical cancer!
