The Ivy Asia St Paul's

Monday, 18 November The Ivy Asia, St Paul’s will open its doors to a brand-new Asian concept restaurant and bar, open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Serving theatrical drinks and cocktails late into the night alongside a delicious menu of tantalising, Asian-inspired dishes, this vibrant and playful destination will entertain, inspire and excite guests from the moment they step inside.

On arrival, diners will be met with a show-stopping fluorescent pink onyx floor, impressive panelled artwork depicting notable Japanese landscapes, and a pink-hued pagoda, before climbing the stairs to the first-floor restaurant.

Upstairs, the entire floor will be illuminated with green, semi-precious stone, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, luxurious Asian fabrics, brass top tables, and large windows overlooking one of London’s most iconic and beautiful sites, St Paul’s Cathedral. Artwork will pay homage to a series of pan-Asian influences including flora, fauna and mythology, whilst a collection of limited-edition, antique 12ft samurai warriors look on.

As well as the main restaurant, bar and open kitchen seating, diners will be able to make use of a stunning private dining room, accommodating up to 20 seated guests.

The Ivy Asia, St Paul’s will be overseen by General Manager Julia Gilbert, whilst the kitchen brigade will be run by Deepak Kotian. Menus will take inspiration from a number of Asian flavours and ingredients, with dishes including yellowtail sashimi with truffle, chilli and tosazu dressing and Wagyu beef tataki with pickled vegetables, sitting alongside a bespoke express lunch menu with bento boxes for those on the go. Bar Manager, William Beatty, will be serving up delicious cocktails such as smoked plum Boulevardier, refreshing Malaysian Margaritas with tequila, aloe vera juice, coconut cream and lime, and Beijing Slings complete with Wyborowa vodka, Kishinamien Umeshi plum sake, Jasmine, vanilla, lime, apple juice and plum bitters, alongside an extensive menu of wines and sake, ensuring there is something to suit all occasions and tastes.

Once open, the restaurant and bar will come alive with an exciting calendar of vibrant entertainment and music, revelry and DJs. Open until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, guests will be encouraged to stay and play late into the night.

Baton Berisha, Managing Director for The Ivy Collection, says: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our first solely pan-Asian restaurant on Monday, 18 November, bringing a totally new dining experience and destination to the heart of the city.”
