Students and staff are invited to join us for the centre-piece launch event, which will feature a panel discussion followed by food and refreshments.
The event will be opened with a brief keynote address by LCC Head of College Professor Kene Igweonu, followed by a panel discussion exploring various themes relating to Black British History and the lived experiences of Black students and colleagues at LCC.
The panel will feature both distinguished colleagues of LCC and UAL, as well as friends of the University, including politician and civil rights campaigners Cllr Maurice Mcleod and leading black architect and activist, Elsie Owusu OBE.
The panel will be chaired and facilitated by Tony Snow, outgoing LCC EDI Steering Group Co-Chair.
