Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to join the Human Capital team of Capco. The L&D BP will be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of learning across all business lines in the organisation such as: job-specific courses (product, policy/procedure, system); general education, customer service, sales, sales management, team-building, performance management, skill assessments and leadership development.
In this highly visible role, the individual will partner with the Learning & Organisational Development Lead and the Human Capital Lead of the UK in designing and delivery of learning solutions to ensure alignment with the strategic business objectives of the organisation.
The L&D BP will report to the Human Capital Lead of the UK.
The role is home-based in London, but will require some travel to the other Capco oofices
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal facilitator for general education, functional, policy/procedure, system, customer service, compliance, sales, skill assessments and development
  • Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as: instructor led classroom; webinar; role playing and simulations; team exercises; group discussions; videos; teleconference or video conference; self-paced; and e-learning
  • Facilitate Interpersonal and Core curriculum such as: consulting skills, project and performance management, coaching, among others.
  • Participate in learning analysis to support development of instructional design through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or other key stakeholders
  • Attend and/or facilitate meetings as needed to understand how to support the objectives of the various business lines
  • Create, develop and maintain course materials, facilitator guides, instructor manuals, learner guides, hand-outs, reference materials and other materials and/or utilize purchased training programs that meet identified learning goals
  • Assist with identifying and closing organisational performance gaps
  • Assist with identifying the most appropriate and cost-effective learning approach, including selection of learning media
  • Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs in partnership with the L&D Co-ordinator

Basic Requirements

  • BS or BA Degree required
  • Profound and practical experience as a Learning & Development Facilitator, Trainer, HR-Business-Partner or related role with management experience.
  • Knowledge of adult learning development, theory and practice, facilitation and training techniques, instructional design methods, and specific knowledge of the program or learning subject matter area
  • Previous experience of facilitation and training
  • Exceptional facilitation skills with ability to engage on-site and remote audiences, present content clearly using examples and analogies to achieve learning objective
  • Passionate about creating a uniquely positive participant-centred learning environment
  • A consummate “team player” who builds highly effective professional relationships and has the ability to effectively work with and communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • A highly motivated self-starter who requires little direction and who has the ability to thrive and deliver in a lean, fast paced and collaborative environment, focusing on performance and business execution
  • Travel required—approximately 20%
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Web 2.0 and Visio
