Interest Rates Interbank Sales | Soc Gen | City of London

• The candidate will be a member of the Fixed Income Interbank desk.
• This will entail competing with brokers in channeling more flows through the Interbank desk and reducing the brokerage paid by the bank in interest rate products.
• The candidate will be require to provide best service to the respective trading desks by providing live prices and acting as a strong source of liquidity.
• The desk also contributes to improving and promoting the firm’s electronic trading capabilities.
• The role therefore, comprises both an element of pure broking/execution skills, as well as, sales.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily check of credit lines with other banks and monitoring/follow-up of electronic trading enquiries.
• Broadcasting and distribution of trading axes (prices) from external and internal counterparties to the trading desks.
• Working and executing trading axes both internally and externally.
• Responding to pricing requests.
