Over the last 8 years, Julia has supported over 1,500 women in building long-term value for their businesses, providing straight talking strategic guidance, objectivity and perspective, and her heartfelt and unwavering support.

As strategic advisor, she helps clients to navigate the scaling and investment process effectively, developing fundraising skills, leadership skills, business acumen and the confidence needed to enter the arena and smash down the barriers to success. She is a fierce champion for the founders and businesses she works with, inspiring, encouraging and motivating them to achieve great things.
Julia is the host of leading business podcast Fundraising Stories with Female Founders and author of best-selling book RAISE: The Female Founder’s Guide To Securing Investment which was shortlisted in the Business Book Awards 2023. She is also a member of the Women and Enterprise All Party Parliamentary Group, contributor to the Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship, and a long-standing judge at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. She regularly chairs and presents at leading start-up events including the Evening Standard’s SME Expo, London Tech Week and Enterprise Nation, and speaks regularly in the media, representing the voice of the female founder.
In Julia’s free time, she sings in a show tunes choir, loves cooking and good wine, keeping fit and sane with yoga, online fitness classes and long walks on the beach with her cocker spaniel, Kenny, plus hanging out with her teenage kids (when they let her).
