We are very pleased to be launching WATC 5.0 in time for our 5th Birthday. We wanted WeAreTheCity to be more clickable from the home page and give everyone more choice to navigate around the content.
With scrollable slide shows on each main section, this enables all members to quickly see the latest and greatest news and articles from our team of writers and partners. We also looked at what content was most popular and where your journey goes on WATC, so have restructured the content and feel to be more intuitive to your views. Due to high levels of spamming we have had to restrict comments for the meantime but will be re-enabling this shortly with our members settings.
Members
This also paves the way for the next stage of providing an exclusive and secure area to WeAreTheCity for members which will be launched in the next few weeks. We aim to showcase our offers, discounts, events and competitions in there, plus have the ability to see unique content and downloadable resources.
Social
We have also integrated and setup several Facebook pages now (with over a 100 people liking within the first day) where we hope you can also join us. You can easily link to us at the top right of the website or bottom left.
Careers City
We are now finalising Careers City 3.0 to give all job seekers greater access to jobs and have a secure portal for CVs and advice. This is a total new platform for us and we are hoping that you will take a look at the smartest job board in the UK.
