We are excited to be working with Nikki Hutchison, our new Career Blogger, who is sharing her experience and wisdom on all things to do with you and your career. Whether it is how to be an effective internal applicant, to essential tips on making yourself noticed in the workplace, Nikki will continue to share more views and tips soon.
Nikki has worked in the City of London for over 20 years and founded Chilli Pepper Global in Jan 2010. Adding value to large corporate businesses she helps them to retain their ‘Star Performers’ and to identify their ‘Future Talent’ who would otherwise go unnoticed. Providing a career mentoring service Nikki specialises in giving executives an edge over their competitors. Experienced at supporting a wide range of individuals, she recognises that trusting to luck on the day doesn’t cut it in today’s competitive market. “Professional people who value their next career step or promotion do what it takes to be in great shape for the big day and I support those individuals. Educating people to sell themselves in the content of their CV and interview technique and to build on their personal brand all make a difference when looking for a new challenge or promotion and I deliver that difference.”
Prior to 2010 Nikki experienced a successful career in Recruitment spanning over 12 years, supporting mid to senior level managers within Investment Banking who were seeking their next career move. Over the years clients have included Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Credit Suisse and more recently RBS and HSBC. In addition to owning a business Nikki is Head of Social Media for Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) and is an advocate for the charity ‘Eaves’ where she has presented educational workshops and raised money to support their cause.
