IT Vacancy of the week: Application Support Engineer – Trading | London

Leading Global Financial client based in City of London requires an experienced and accomplished Trading Systems/Trade Application Support Engineer. You will be responsible for deploying and supporting 3rd party and complex in house applications.

Candidates must have an excellent working knowledge and experience of supporting real time Trading Systems. The engineer must also be very client focused with excellent communication skills.

Essentials

* Strong experience and a good working knowledge of real time trading systems.
* Excellent problem solving, planning and analytical skills.
* Good Unix preferably Linux
* Strong PERL and SQL scripting
* Any knowledge of C++ Development would be an advantage
