I’m a seasoned Project Manager and Change Maker known for my expertise in consultancy, business acumen, and exceptional people skills. I’m all about enhancing workplaces and never stop learning to achieve excellence. My leadership style revolves around people—I love forging connections, and it’s been the key to exceeding goals and nurturing strong relationships. This approach isn’t just about ensuring successful internal changes and projects; it’s about making a real, impactful difference.

How did winning a Rising Star award influence your perception of your own achievements and potential?

Winning a Rising Star award was a pivotal moment for me. It served as a validation of my hard work affirming that I was on the right path in my career. It boosted my confidence and solidified my belief in my capabilities and potential during a time of significant change. It made me realise that even small steps forward can be significant and recognised by others.

Have there been specific opportunities or doors that opened for you as a result of receiving the award?

Winning the award coincided with a period of transformation at my previous workplace, where the direction of my employer and my career goals diverged.

However, this recognition brought a surge in industry visibility, affirming my value and competence. Consequently, it opened doors to speaking engagements and sparked promising career opportunities. As a Rising Star award recipient, my professional network expanded exponentially, introducing me to influential personalities and kindred spirits who align with my aspirations and passions.

How has winning the award affected your professional network and relationships within your industry?

Being a Rising Star award recipient significantly expanded my professional network, allowing me to connect with influential figures and like-minded individuals who share similar aspirations and passions.

This guidance has instilled in me a newfound appreciation for networking—an invaluable skill that I’ve come to cherish and actively utilize. As I look ahead to seizing new opportunities in the coming year, the network I’ve cultivated will undoubtedly be a cornerstone in propelling my endeavors forward.

Have you had the chance to mentor or inspire others based on your experience?

One of the most fulfilling aspects has been the chance to mentor and inspire others. Sharing my journey and lessons learned has been incredibly rewarding. It’s gratifying to know that my experience can motivate others on their paths to success.

What advice would you give to someone else thinking of nominating themselves or others for the awards?

Don’t underestimate your accomplishments or the impact you’ve had. Be genuine and passionate in your application, highlighting not just achievements but also the journey, challenges, and lessons learned. Also, recognize and appreciate the support of mentors, colleagues, and friends who’ve contributed to your success.

What advice do you have for individuals aspiring to achieve success in their careers?

Believe in yourself, and plan for taking small steps which can move you towards achieving your goals.

What is next for you?

I am really excited about my next steps. My focus is set on exploring new avenues that resonate with my professional calling—to actively contribute to creating better, more inclusive workplaces. I’m eagerly seeking opportunities that align with this purpose, aiming to make a tangible difference in the way people experience their work environments.
