Baby2Body’s Workplace Wellness Awards to celebrate UK companies committed to promoting prenatal & maternal wellbeing

Workplace Wellness Awards

Baby2Body is very proud to announce their new annual initiative, the Workplace Wellness Awards.

Baby2Body is focused on championing comprehensive healthy lifestyles for pregnant women and mothers, so, they’ve created a platform to recognize companies in the UK that provide healthy environments and innovative solutions to support employees who are pregnant and/or returning from maternity leave.

Their mission is to benefit both women at this life stage and the companies they work for – by encouraging a culture of health and wellbeing that extends equally to all employees and drives greater cohesion, productivity, and efficiency at every level.

Workplace wellness is a massive topic right now, but pregnant women and new mothers who have unique needs in this space are often overlooked. Ultimately by putting on these awards Baby2Body wants to promote environments where pregnant women feel supported and understood so that after giving birth they are eager and able to return to work.

Baby2Body is hosting a launch event to kick off the awards on November 20th at their Piccadilly Circus offices. It will be an exciting night of panelist discussions, audience questions, and of course food and drink, as they acknowledge companies pioneering this cultural shift and revolutionizing the corporate workplace.

The application cycle for the awards will open on 14th November and run for one month with an entry deadline 14th December. The criteria will include topics such as: corporate wellness programmes related to prenatal and postnatal health; flexible working opportunities; on-site or subsidized childcare, healthy lifestyle promotion (on-site gyms, provision of healthy snacks, other healthy living incentives); and percentage of mothers returning to work after maternity leave.

Baby2Body will be announcing a shortlist and hosting their first ever Workplace Wellness Awards Ceremony in early 2019 – details to be confirmed at a later time.
