WeAreTheCity and Zapita have teamed up to bring our members a chance to win £100 voucher towards their perfect pair of Zapita shoes.

So, with the wedding season upon us please can someone tell me why a nude patent round-toe court shoe, is the only style most guests want to wear with their outfits?  Surely there are some more interesting shapes around and I don’t even need to question if there is a selection of colours to match.  Admittedly a nude shoe goes with all, but why can’t we have a plainer more neutral dress that goes with a statement pair of heels? We at Zapita are campaigning for outfits to start with the shoes and we hope we have some supporters out there who also feel the same.

Here are some thoughts on what styles could make you want to say ‘I do’!

A peep toe block heel sandal (and yes in a pinky nude) but this shape really shows off your newly polished toes a treat and really works with any hem line on a pleated skirt or a floral print dress.

A wedge is the ultimate in comfort and for a summer wedding is great to take you from canapés right through to the last swirl on the dance floor.  If you like to colour match your outfit and shoes – the two tone colour block wedge below (available in a pink and blue palette) means you have two bites of the cake at getting it right.

If you like a wedge but would prefer something more open then these strappy snakeskin wedges available in a bright turquoise and a natural snake with a stylish zip at the back really can show off your brown summer feet.
